If you want a way to explore Scotland on a deeper level, to experience places and connect to people off the beaten track, you’ve found it. I’ve lived and worked in some of Scotland’s most dramatic scenery, so I know where to find this beautiful country’s most authentic version of itself.
I offer full-day and half-day driver-guided tours of the East Neuk and North-East Fife for 1-3 people. I also create customised multi-day itineraries and I can do bespoke driver-guided tours up to 5 days.
An adventure awaits…

More than a planning service…
This is more than a planning service. It’s a consultation that will allow you to tap into local expertise and thoughtful, creative solutions to your travel puzzles. We’ve lived in and travelled to most of Scotland and we’re really good at making the most out of whatever time, season or interest you have.
Don’t waste time going round in circles trying to figure out how to fit it all in; give us your wish list and let’s start the conversation. We’ll draft some options and, with your input, provide you with a comprehensive itinerary. We can include everything from places to eat, stay, shop and explore to a timetable for getting around, whether you’re on a self-drive tour or using public transport. We can provide you with previews - our own photos and reviews of places you are curious about but want to check on before committing to visiting. We can suggest reading materials and we can recommend any clothing or kit that would enhance your experience of Scotland.
One you have your itinerary, our service doesn’t end there.
When you are in Scotland, we’ll be on standby to help you out. Need a change of plan to accommodate the unexpected? We can help. Need a Plan B for bad weather or a missed ferry? Let us figure that out for you. Think of us as your local buddy and check in when you need advice. This is more than just a planning service! See below for how this works.
How does this work?
When you purchase this service, we:
Take an initial payment of £50. This covers a consultation with no obligation to move past that point.
We ask you to complete a form with some basic details, such as your travel dates/season and your wish-list.
We then arrange a 30-minute online meeting with you to talk through your priorities so that we can shape a rough plan together.
If you wish to go ahead with the full plan, we then request a further payment of £175 to cover our full planning and back-up service.
Next, we create a draft plan with high-level detail. We can amend this up to 5 times.
Once the draft plan is agreed, we then create a more detailed version with you. It will include timings, costs, contact details and anything else that can make your travels smoother. We can amend this up to 3 times.
When you are happy with the final travel itinerary, we share it with you as an updatable Google Doc and/or a Wanderlog Trip.
Good to know:
Our planning service includes up to 5 amendments of the overview and 3 amendments of the details of the plan. If your plans change and you want a complete revision, we can do this for an additional payment of £100.
Our back-up service, when you are in Scotland, is to help you make any amendments to your plan for unforeseen changes. You can contact us by email, by phone or using WhatsApp.
Our aim is to make your planning a pleasure and your trip a treat.
We know Scotland well - let us show you how to experience Scotland, not just see it and how to explore Scotland, not just visit it.
